Product Details
In order to achieve a record of lightness, the design of each component as well as the choice of materials were decisive. To obtain a piece that light it was necessary to reduce the volume of each part as well as the density of the materials used.
Regarding the design, each component is cut, opened, dug to minimize the volume of material used while respecting the mechanical constraints and the resistance to efforts.
The lightness also goes through the choice of materials used so we can find in this watch a large amount of composite material such as Carbon-Resin PETG this material is composed of carbon microfiber mix with a resin. It is 9 times lighter than steel.
This piece was entirely designed to break the record of the lightest mechanical watch ever made.
To achieve this level of lightness this series inaugurates the brand new manufacture movement Remontet 01LT. This mechanism was born solely to equip this watch, it is a mixture of traditional watchmaking and ultra modern technology.
