The watchmaker,
Valentin REMONTET, who holds a diploma in arts and craft in watchmaking, has a great experience in the development, machining and assembly of hight complicated watches in Swiss factories such as TAG Heuer and Breguet.
Brand philosophy
We are a small, independent company based in France. The creation, design, manufacturing are made in France.
I produce very small amount of timepieces a year due to our tiny structure but that allows me to be extremely flexible and to be really free to create and to produce what I truly want.
My design is articulated around three poles that I keep in mind during all the creation process.
Futuristic, it’s not just an image, it’s real for me, it’s the guideline of my product design, a way to think and invent.
Comfort, because a watch is the closest accessory we wear, the relation between your wrist and the timepiece needs to be perfect. That’s why I keep our watches as light as possible, I design our movement and case the way to stay in reasonable dimension. To accomplish such thing I have to implement our own technical or mechanical innovations.
Different, to make the first two ideas possible I have to constantly innovate and not stay in defined model, I have to dare to do things differently.
Product line
Our product line is divided in two sides. Like me. Both follow the same philosophy but with two different personalities.
The ㅁ LINE is bold, aggressive, showing its technical features to the world.
The O LINE is soft, minimalist, showing simplicity above all.
Inspiration
I have different sort of inspiration from architecture to technical clothing, I want to keep my mind opened to divers univers.
I grew up with Japanese anime, super heroes movies and space conquest dreams.
Japanese or Korean culture are immensely inspiring for me, from historical building to modern neon cities.
Techwear is also really important to me, I want our products to be functional and comfortable, style and technique must merge to achieve perfect combination.
I am born and based in France, so I am in contact of a glorious watchmaking past.
I try to push this heritage into our modern world by inventing, imaging different way to make timepieces.

Key Dates
The family watchmaking story dates back to 1949 with the installation of Valentin's grandfather.
In 1984, Pierre Valentin’s father created his own watchmaking restoration workshop.
In October 2017, Valentin founded his company: Horlogerie V Remontet.
Box and shipping
Our products claim to be futuristic and our futur need to be cleaner that’s why our boxes are made in our workshop in France, we try to keep its dimensions in reasonable sizes, it’s printed with 97% recycled polymer and it’s 100% recyclable.
Plus with all our international shipping we use solutions in order to be carbon neutral.
The future is not a distant image, it’s up to us to make it great.
